Immortals review

Posted : 7 years, 4 months ago on 1 December 2016 02:17 (A review of Immortals)

IMMORTALS is a dark, violent movie and it's easily at its best when carnage covers the screen, huge for blood-soaked fans.
Virile gods like super heroes in golden armours. Chiseled abs, great body tone and their warrior spirit makes the movie fabulous. Cavill is handsome with a chiseled body, battle ready and full of rage, looking every inch a living sculpture. Luke Evans as Zeus is god-like and Kellan Lutz as Poseidon was buff as roided! Good-looking and bloody fight sequences, filmed in slow motion to the elaborated transitions from one shot to the other and the amazingly ripped eight pack abs of Henry Cavill.
Immortals battle scenes are bloody and well-staged (and obviously influenced by 300),. In the end there's a fight between Gods and Titans and it boils down to a bombastic orgy of killing with little substance behind it, but hey, that's actually kind of alright with me. The scene where Ares massacred Hyperion's warriors was great. You wanna see the Gods v. Titans fight scenes and Ares' rampage in good clarity. I can't stress enough how awesome those parts were! Gods are like an elite martial arts crew! Luke Evans Zeus clad in gold plated armor butchering the titans!, Ares (Daniel Sharman) and Poseidon (Kellan Lutz).), Apollo (Corey Sevier), and Heracles (Steve Byers) saturate the movie with jaw-dropping graphics, heart-palpitating adventure with an exciting climax to the finish. Killing and slashing and annihilating warriors, all this performed by brave, bare-chested males with bulging biceps, clenched jaws, and blazing eyes. Theseus's and King Hyperion's respective warriors were alpha males on the peak, testosterone-fueled beefcake, also like that brute in the Minotaur armor who battles Theseus for the bow. Many fight to the death, many are savagely killed, hunky muscle-men on display to its endless stylized slo-mo beheadings, blood sprays, decapitations, ball busting.
Singh rises above expectation here in creating an absolutely spectacular visual orgasm filled with intense mind-boggling fight scenes and stunning male musculature. There are no end of battle scenes, , in which beheading and skewering are routine. Theseus is so strong he actually stabs one enemy with the end of his pike and tosses him with great force against a rock wall. images of carnage (sometimes in slow motion), detailed settings, and over-the-top instances of machismo, When swords are flying, people’s heads are exploding and abdomens are sliced open to reveal a shimmering scarlet lattice of internal organs, “Immortals” is at its finest. And the blood FLOWS when gods go to battle with the Titans. The fight scene choreography is fast, impressive and engrossing. Titans are split in half every which way, heads are destroyed, limbs removed, just crazy carnage. The Gods are slaughtering the Titans, but the Titans get the advantage and kill Heracles and the other God. They attack and are about the kill Poseidon when Zeus climbs on top of the cell and pulls out the handles which turns out to be chains. Make no mistake; the violence in this film is not for the faint of heart. Brutality is portrayed in the film’s climactic battle at the base of Mount Tartarus, where Hyperion and Theseus’ armies deliver a dizzying overload of slowed montages, carnage and intense executions. the fights in IMMORTALS are visceral, awe-inspiring, creative and insanely bad ass. Heads explode, get cut off and are crushed. The fight is brutal and bloody, featuring decapitations, disembowelings, impalings, warriors being chopped in half and hurled into stone walls, quite a few gods are seemingly killed - Immortals is a tantalizing feast of visual energy and brutal battles.
Tons of violence, gore and graphic death scenes. One scene in particular with Corey Sevier, who portrays Apollo, engages in a heroic, memorable battle that will have everyone on the edge of their seat.. The climactic battle between Theseus and Hyperion was very claustrophobic and brutal. The two characters battling so fiercely in such tight quarters made for a really heightened sense of drama and the realistic fight choreography served those scenes well. Hyperion ends up stabbing Theseus several times. In the end, Theseus stabs Hyperion in the neck killing him, but Theseus succumbs to his wounds and collapses on Hyperion’s body.
In my opinion: it's a guy movie. The epic clash between the hordes of Hyperion and the Greeks led by Theseus was amazing; however the fight between The Olympians and the Titans totally stole the show. I was literally jumping off my seat with every blow. "Immortals" will play well to frat boys, soldiers, jocks, and other macho types, all the bloody carnage and violence had me squirming in my seat.

Batman vs. Superman: The Greatest Battles review

Posted : 7 years, 4 months ago on 28 November 2016 04:23 (A review of Batman vs. Superman: The Greatest Battles)

The heavyweight title bout between Batman and Superman is a smash to the senses lust for power about to be consumed… Such a Lust For Revenge! Batman’s lust for blood typically aggro-muscular AFFLECK AND CAVILL COMPETE FOR THE MOST SHREDDED PHYSIQUE. THE DARK KNIGHT POSSESS THE IMPOSING, POWERFUL LOOK OF AN MMA HEAVYWEIGHT. Bruce Wayne, in a perpetual state of testosterone fueled anger and fear, is on a mission to destroy Superman. Ben Affleck is a really well-balanced Bruce Wayne and Batman. He is fucking huge and intimidating.
Main activity of alpha men :guys hitting each other, intense relationships between men. That’s exactly what happens in Dawn of Justice. The lust for fight and blood is the reason for Superman to fly off and fight Batman. Batman is obsessed with Superman muscle power. The real reason the two have to fight is that they have to settle supremacy.
These superheroes enjoys the pain from combat wounds, both their own and others'. When cut, stabbed or shot, they moan in ecstasy and lick the blood. After harming an opponent, and especially when they take a life, the sensation and expression on their face is orgasmic. Their battle style is intense, and they efficiently kill enemies in the most painful way possible. If there are enemy survivors they gonna squirm by sticking fingers in wounds or shooting/stabbing them some more.
The two have to fight because fighting is the way alpha males express their testosterone and stamina. When they finally meet—and fight—it’s equivalent to a hate fuck. Snyder’s Batman with his five o’clock shadow, as well as Superman. Thanks to Cavill, Snyder’s Superman looks to be in perpetual tumescence. Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent clash, because they share a testosterone rivalry. They look good together because Affleck’s manliness and Cavill’s virility. Massive Cavill wears the Superman uniform like a second skin. Superman suit is successful fetish gear—textured fabric invite you to touch those muscles. Batman is a man who laces up in dark black Corinthian leathers, taut muscles exploding with power beneath his sweat-filled costume as he takes to the late night streets of Gotham’s moonlight to only have his body ravaged and torn by the whips and whims of burly villains, all sweaty and musky as their grueling battles leave their thighs quivering in exhaustion upon collapse.

The fight between Batman and Superman. The biggest reason why people will and are watching this movie. 'The greatest gladiator match in the history of the world': Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill clash in epic showdown. Of course some guys would have put a drastically different finishing: it would end with Superman ripping Batman’s spine out of his freaking back !! The fight between Batman and Superman. The biggest reason why people will and are watching this movie 'Fight night. The greatest gladiator match in the history of the world. 'Son of Krypton versus bat of Gotham. God versus man.'
Superman faces Batman, Batman is standing closer now, showing that they are roughly the same height.Superman's jaw tightens and the veins in his neck pulse outward… THE BATTLE BEGINS! Armored Batman is BIG. Armored Batman stands taller than Superman and is most certainly wider and with scratches and dings in the heavy armor. Boots have spiked tread soles and the helmet is agro type. It’s a real heavy body armour, full-arm-gloves, and a utility belt visible below.Batman's armored suit allows him to pound Superman's face. What’s surprising about this battle between them is the amount of quality shots Batman lands on Supes, some of which even draw blood Batman is equipped with those lethal spiked gauntlets: the spikes that shattered Ra's al Ghul's sword in Batman Begins and damage Bane's mask in The Dark Knight Rises.
Batman is able to throw Superman through walls, but Superman fights back and throws Batman around as well. Batman has an amazing armor, but Superman is able to tear apart the armor, grabs Batman and begins to fly straight up. If he wanted to, Superman could have ended it there. Bruce was vulnerable for a few moments, but instead of killing him, Superman's taunt him. This is a fight that has the epic double page spread of Batman punching Superman in the face, dominating the fight, but Batman is in trouble. At one point, he mentions that one more punch will break every bone in his hand and he notices that Superman is holding back a lot. Batman brought in his strongest armor which had traces of Kryptonite to level the power difference. Batman was able to not only stop man of steel's punches but was able to make him bleed. Superman slowly realized that the suit was the reason that's making him weak and so with all his strength he started ripping off the suit from the Bat. Without his suit Batman knew his end was near if he doesn't do anything, Superman will crush him like a bug ! With every blow that Batman took, he could feel his bones breaking.
Batman manages to get back up fast and throw Superman to the ground from a few floors up, bringing him down hard. Batman ties Superman's feet together and drags him a spot where he plans to impale him with the Kryptonite spear.Batman is the victor of this battle, using carefully set traps, kryptonite-enhanced weapons, and his incredible reinforced suit and steel toed spiked boots to beat Superman. And when I say beat, I mean that literally. Batman basically pummels Superman into the ground and stomp him bad, crushing his face under his hobnailed heavy boot sole. Batman, wearing his heavily armored suit, including those spiked boots that will help Batman crush Superman’s perfect face. An engineered killer’s boot, stepping on Superman’s face, forever pinned down under the boot of Batman. No blood, no dismemberment of organic beings, only trauma allowed is blunt-force
After a brutal and intense fight for both the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel, Batman holds Superman down with his spiked boot at his throat. It's an iconic scene straight out of The Dark Knight Returns and it feels just as intense
Superman's face was torn by horrible slashes, and part of his upper lip was gone. ... out with the heel of Batman’s boot The Dark Knight (Ben Affleck)—in his armored Batsuit—with his left foot placed upon the throat of Superman (Henry Cavill), who is lying on his back. Batman's cowl is damaged, exposing half of his face, and his teeth are gritted as he looks down on the Man of Steel. A tall Batman, and Affleck, at 6’4” (6’6” in boots) In order to face Superman on a more equal level, Batman will don that Dark Knight Returns-inspired armor, but it’s going to take more than a giant boot to the face to beat the Kryptonian. he apply his big, spike-layered boots to Superman’s throat. Batman kicking Superman in the jaw with his spiked boot.
One of the best moment was when Batman picks up an almost unconscious Superman, lifting him right over his head to throw him down several flights of stairs. The battle ends when Batman stands over Superman holding a long, pointed, phallic Kryptonite spear. “You’re not even a man,” the Caped Crusader growls, in case we were in any doubt as to who was topping. Too much tension needs to explode. This supernatural battle , this epic collision is tensed muscle. Batman takes down Superman with a boot to the face and his hands wrapped around Superman’s neck – it’s a climax, like an orgasm! There’s a clear sexual tension between Superman and Batman .Cavill and Affleck are great at playing off each other in their alpha male, dick-measuring contest. Batman v Superman is a story of two alpha males fighting for manly warrior supremacy.
Superman quickly recovers and start beating Batman up pretty badly when he get shot with a Kryptonite arrow, by Batman. Superman was then utterly crushed by Batman, who viciously attacked him with all his might. With Superman bleeding profusely from his mouth, Batman grabs him by the throat and with the weakened Superman in his grasps, Batman delivers the Alpha Male Statement: “I want you to remember, Clark, … In your most private moments … I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you.”
But at that moment, Batman has a heart attack and dies!!! Batman, after years of planning and intense workout, gets his ribs broke, his leather suit torn to shreds, suffers a heart attack, and ends up in the ground!!

Superman manages to fly across the battlefield carrying the kryptonite spear, driving it straight into Doomsday's heart and shoves that phallic spear through Doomsday. It’s the end, a climax with much grunting, grimacing, and endless roar of violence. Doomsday strikes back by impaling Superman in the chest with one of his spikes. Superman pushes the Kryptonite through Doomsday's body, killing him for good. Superman is there, impaled by Doomsday with the Kryptonite spear through the monster chest, and just stays there while he goes deeper with the spear at Doomsday's chest!
During his training, Doomsday's interest was with the most violent wrestling competitions which appealed to his blood lust. Doomsday developed a strong desire to murder Superman. Of course, Doomsday's not going to go down easy, and stabs Superman with the jagged spike jutting out where his hand used to be. Superman, struggling against the pain of his wound and the effect of the kryptonite, levering himself up by the spike, forcing the spear further into Doomsday's torso. Superman's Heroic Sacrifice. He had impaled Doomsday with the kryptonite spear, and the latter had also impaled him through the chest with a bony fist blade. What does Superman do? Grab the blade and pull it in to drive the spear further through Doomsday! A manly fitting end to the Alpha Male Superhero. The movie ends with the death of Superman rivalry between them is furious, fueled by bitterness and revenge .The hero and the monster mortally wound each other in a moment of sacrifice and self-destructive rage.

The Base 2: Guilty as Charged review

Posted : 7 years, 4 months ago on 27 November 2016 04:55 (A review of The Base 2: Guilty as Charged)

A army group execute soldiers who, in their judgment, are guilty of some serious criminal act. When the "target" has been selected, he is abducted by the gang, taken to the kind of densely wooded area where dead bodies are always found, and given ten seconds to run like hell before the Furies pursue him, blasting away with the ugliest guns you ever saw. The target having died what the reigning Lt. Colonel (James Remar) calls "a warrior's death," the body is buried and the next target selected. In the end they all meet warriors' deaths, except the undercover cop.Lt. John Murphy (Sabato Jr.) goes undercover in their unit to find out what's going on. He poses as a manly stud with sunglasses, and gets on his Harley with jeans and biker boots . All the soldiers are bulked up roided beasts and carry their frames on huge bone structures and they punch and kick hell out of each other in training or for real, in brutal alpha male battles. When Strauss's newest recruit, Willetts (Elijha Mahar ), starts developing a conscience, Goose beheads him in the most savage way, moaning in bloodlust excitation. Sabato is discovered as undercover and he turns on the next prey, running thru woods. Suddenly he felt on a trap, a kind of a spiked pit. He gets his muscular thigh pierced by a sharp stick and then one of the muscle soldiers arrive to shoot him. Sabato rip off the bloody spike and throw it to the soldier, stabbing him on the bull neck, thru the windpipe. The huge bastard fall on the pit and impale his huge torso on the spikes. The same happens to another raging soldier that also end impaled brutally. The ultimate combat : Sabato vs Remar. Brutal, solid blows hiting eachother bodies with those fists and heavy boots. And at last the evil Colonel ends with his muscled uniformed body riddled with bullets, like a warrior, roaring till death!
P.S don’t forget Deron McBee who plays a raging redneck named Cletus. He’s the huge stallion from other action movies and sadly dies too quickly : his huge roided bulked body explodes with a grenade

The Base review

Posted : 7 years, 4 months ago on 27 November 2016 03:07 (A review of The Base)

An Army Major (Dacascos) goes undercover to investigate a dangerous Sergeant (Tim Abell) and the the action, when it comes, is extremely violent, in a brutal bout of martial arts fighting where skulls crack and bone-breaking blows are delivered extremely loudly. On the first brawl, Dacascos takes on the muscular v-shaped torso soldier (Darcas Macopson) in a surprisingly dirty kendo duel. And in the finale Dacascos face him again when he takes on the four main bad guys. In one notable moment shoots Darcas Macopson at point-black range repeatedly through the stomach, and the herculean bastard takes those slugs with teeth gritted and foam and blood from his mouth, convulsing in agony!! The chief , Tim Abell, go mad with an axe and his death is gruesome and deserved, although ripped from both COMMANDO and DOUBLE IMPACT. That finale between Mark and Tim Abell is pure testosterone battle between alpha males. Marc finishes him off by stabbing the Sergeant in the heart with a metal pipe, jams this pipe into an electric box and doesn't let go off the pipe until the military stud guy has been grilling for a second or two and twitching and grunting in a fuckin orgasmic way ! Talk about a real hero!!!! The army uniforms, all those boots and cmos, green olie muscle t shirts, all that makes it more appealing . Even more when one knows that Tim Abell (Sergeant Gammon) was a United States Army Ranger before he started acting.

Metal Hurlant Chronicles review

Posted : 7 years, 6 months ago on 23 October 2016 12:58 (A review of Metal Hurlant Chronicles)

In “King’s Crown,” a bunch of sword-wielding musclemen meet in a series of public duels to decide who will succeed the dying, debauched king, who lives in a castle floating in mid-air, high above the commoners he treats as cattle.Lots bloody fighting The warriors fight to the death until there is only one man standing. That man will be crowned king. In this event is Guillame (Scott Adkins) a ferociously just fighter who wants nothing more than to win the crown so that he can take his people out of their slums and bring back the technology that they have lost during the reign of the tyrant king who gluts himself on drugs and kidnapped concubines. Also in the fight are warriors with much less noble intents, Starring (Scott Adkins, The Bourne Ultimatum, Zero Dark Thirty), Michael Jai White (The Dark Knight), and John Rhys-Davies (The Lord of the Rings trilogy), including Darren Shahlavi (who played Kano in the woefully under-promoted and distributed MORTAL KOMBAT: LEGACY).

The Raid: Redemption (2011) review

Posted : 7 years, 9 months ago on 17 July 2016 09:18 (A review of The Raid: Redemption (2011))

The Raid: Redemption: a film so hard hitting, so full of testosterone, that really make you feel manly while watching it The Raid: Redemption is high on testosterone and adrenaline, with fight scenes brutal and bloody enough to satisfy the most hard-core action junkie.

20 Elite elite commando Cops in black bulletproof vests is assigned the task of take down a Mob Boss. Once inside the building, the cops realises that they are trapped with no way out of the building, engaging in the raid almost immediately and finding themselves outnumbered and outgunned, stumble into the midst of a massacre. What follows is a grueling one and a half hour of struggle which involves everything from bursting cylinders to machetes, to blood curdling fist fights, alpha male warriors getting their heads smashed into walls, their kidneys punched a couple dozen times, and their necks snapped back, wild warriors keep going with a jagged segment of a broken fluorescent tube sticking out of their necks! Its 101-minute fusillade of punching,head-spinning, heart-pounding, , kicking, stabbing, slashing, cracking, crunching, gouting and spurting.

The group of SWAT police , a full equipped force, decked out head to toe in black uniforms, heavy tactical boots, ballistic vests, and helmets. Those alpha macho imposing uniforms begin to degrade as they’re shred piece by piece over the course of the film. Rama, a virile macho cop armed with a standard-issue police baton and combat knife. He had an assault rifle and hand gun, but has discarded both after running out of ammo. Also still wearing most of his riot gear: flak vest, elbow & knee pads, but no helmet. While others get slammed harshly into walls and door, Rama stuns some thug with a club to the chest then reaches around to stab him in the back of the thigh. He stabs another in the upper thigh and then pulls the still-inserted blade nearly down to his knee. He stabs another right in the knee and then twists the knife. Throats get not just sliced but also clubbed in a enraged fury violence!

The Raid: Redemption is Rambo’s wet dream. It’s the motivation behind John Matrix’s bloodlust on Comando, saw blade attacks to the skull, limb penetrating machete karate chops, and axe-to-groin devastation in a orgasmic display of carnage and testosterone filled mayhem! Especially when Mad Dog has the gun on the cop's head, puts it away and challenges him to hand to hand combat. Wow!!!

Like what I read in a movie review: “. The Raid tries to have a 45 minute long orgasm Best action movie ive seen in years, most guys at the theater were having an orgasm everytime someone got blown up”.

Avenging Force review

Posted : 7 years, 9 months ago on 3 July 2016 11:32 (A review of Avenging Force)

Dudikoff is not indestructible like in AMERICAN NINJA and he takes beatings from the bad guys in the swamp, particularly the big buffed guy in military uniform, leather mask and leather straps on his powerful chest. The fights are exciting, as is the final confrontation between Dudikoff and Ryan in the latter's house.
Michel Dudikoff is the rugged former secret service agent Matt Hunter who encounters ample reasons and opportunity to utilize his deadly skills . Lots of shoot-outs and fighting and plenty of suspense and thrills . It's a gripping story of one man's revenge , including graphic violent scenes . Some shootouts , some fights , even sword-fight and kendo fighting . The most memorable thing about "Avenging force" is the nasty violence. Shirtless and insanely ripped Steve James takes a bullet to the chest and is triggers the journey of revenge that lead to a brutal climax in the backwoods of Louisiana!
Violent men hunt in a swamp, in brutal fist fights, two headed spear through the guts, strangulations, shooting bike cops in slow motion, heads smashed into a big ass tractor tire, a rooftop chase, fence smashing, a car crash, crossbow arrow through the neck bondage, crossbow arrow through the knee, a sword vs. tree branch fight, tree stump up through the chest, attempted drowning, a vicious back breaker, boot to the throat, testicle kicking, crossbow arrow to the chest, gut stabbing, a trophy room weapons brawl, spear throwing, a swordfight, stone spear through the chest!

The confrontation between the blond cowboy stud and the mashed warriors in the wetlands of the jungle are amazing as well. The film gains its climax with Michael Dudikoff running through the bayous facing various masked samurai sword, shotgun and crossbow wielders and a wrestler in hand-to-hand combat, and a real smash-’em-up sword and mace showdown with John P. Ryan in the final scene.
On those brutal combats, Matt draws a sword-carrying associate of Elliot’s into the water. The men fight and the Pentangle member is impaled by his own sword. Jeb Wallace, attacks him in a brutal way: punching the cowboy bad, hoisting him in the air, grabbing his crotch in between the cowboy spread legs and backbreaking him over his knee, injuring his spine savagely. During the fight, Matt grabs Jeb’s fallen crossbow and fires an arrow into his chest. Wade Delaney throws a grenade in his direction. The men fight and Matt knifes Wade in the chest. Elliot tries strangling Matt, who knifes him in the groin. The men fight with wooden spears, swords and their fists. When Elliot tries to strangle Matt, he impales Elliot on a sword!

Cyborg review

Posted : 7 years, 10 months ago on 7 June 2016 02:39 (A review of Cyborg)

Some details to the review I gonna make!
As Gibson slits an enemy's throat with a knife in his cowboy boot, blood spurt splashes on the floor.
Fender cutting Strat's throat at the end (offscreen). Then he cleans the bloody knife by wiping it against a pirate's arm and make a comment:"You, my friend, are screwed. Now I claim your soul, asshole. For Satan." Fender shows them the severed head of Strat.

Gibson is nearby and kills most of the pirates. He breaks a pirate's neck with a boot kick. A loud crack can be heard. Gibson kills an opponent with the machete ,the machete exits the opponent's back. As he stabs his opponent, blood splashes around and the enemy falls to the ground.
After a few fights against Fender's troops, Gibson finally faces Fender. Gibson's walk towards Fender and, before he stands before him, he cuts an opponent's throat. The knife can be seen at the throat. Another enemy struggling on the floor while having the knife stuck in his gut. And another guy who jumps over Gibson gets his neck broken because Gibson kicks him while he's in the air, that lethal cowboy boot severing his spine for good
